Hugh Jackman’s return withDeadpool 3has gotten fans immensely excited. Once again taking on the reigns as Wolverine has proven that no other actor could have the same impact on the character as he does. His filmography goes far and wide but that is one role that holds prominence more than any other. However, he isn’t the only actor who is in demand to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There are various other actors whom the fans want to see becoming a part of the franchise and that includes Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Although the former made a massive comeback withDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,the latter has yet to appear in any film from the MCU. However, that may be looking slim as well.

Ian McKellen Hints His Retirement
Ian McKellentook the world by storm when he first debuted as Magneto. All the fans could not help but fawn over just how wonderful he looked as the character. The enigma and charisma he expressed through Magneto was one fans can never forget. However, in a recent interview viaAP Entertainment, he confirmed that his mortality is something that will keep him at bay.
“I’m not a fool; I won’t be acting for much longer.”
Although the legendary actor stated prior to this that he has no plans of retiring (viaIGN) anytime soon, his mortality is not something that can be taken lightly. With age also comes a fair share of difficulties, something that limits him from doing musicals as well as world tours. Not only that, but he stated that as long as his body allows it, he will continue to act and express himself through the likes of cinema. He even confirmed that the only thing keeping him going is the fact that one day he won’t be able to act. That thought terrifies him but his love for acting does not.

Could Ian McKellen Not be in Avengers: Secret Wars Alongside Hugh Jackman?
There are already rumors regarding whether or notHugh Jackmanwill be a part ofAvengers: Secret Wars.It had been speculated for quite some time now that the actor would be part of the movie but that had not been confirmed. So much so that fans also came to believe that he would not be part of the film, as much as it may hurt.
Another actor who might as well be guaranteed to not be a part of the film could be Ian McKellen. Following his latest comment regarding his career, there is a strong chance that he will opt out of the movie, wanting to focus on movies outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
