Why Emily Blunt Does Not Want to Be a Superhero?
Emily Blunt has indeed portrayed a character with superhuman qualities, to be more specific, Mary Poppins, she has yet to venture into the world of superheroes on the silver screen. As for the enigmatic identity of Mary Poppins, it remains shrouded in a mystery she is most definitely not a superhero, that’s for sure. Thus, Blunt has yet to embrace a superhero persona. She revealed that she has never come across a character compelling enough for her to portray. She said,
“It’s always about story, and [playing] a character I haven’t done,—It’s not something I’ve felt the inclination to do before, but it’s not something I turn my nose up at — at all. It’s just that it hasn’t been the right moment or the right thing,–if the script was right…”

The scripts she encountered always seemed to fall short of her high standards, leaving her waiting for the perfect superhero role that would truly captivate her. Until that moment arrives, the fans eagerly anticipate it. In one way or another, she has found herself declining various superhero roles, whether due to scheduling conflicts or a lack of shared vision with the projects.
