Claiming that he was approached by a political party at the end of 2022 and asked to run for President of the United States, Johnson then stirred controversies with his comments. Joe Rogan discussed how back in the day people could openly express their political views, but now it’s no longer a privilege. To which Johnson stated,

“I have friends who support Trump. I have friends who support Biden”

“Do you really have friends who support Biden?” Rogan asked.

“No, no, no, no, no… Thank you. That’s a good check because that’s important. This is important context. They support the Democratic Party.” Johnson shared.

This particular segment from the podcast seems to have stirred controversies since the actor backtracked after saying he has friends who support President Joe Biden. Netizens on X are all over the platform slamming Dwayne Johnson for withdrawing his comments especially after he previously supported Joe Biden and Kamla Harris during the 2020 election.
