Captain America always does selfless acts, but even superheroes need “me” time. And that’s what a viral theory suggests that the Marvel superhero takes ample time for personal needs. A viral theory (viaReddit) claims:
“Captain America poops a lot.”
The theory first came to light in 2011’sThe First Avenger.In the film, when Cap (Chris Evans) tells Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) that he can’t get drunk, to which Carter responds:
“Your metabolism burns four times faster than the average person.”
The theory suggests that it is one of the side effects of super-serum. Because Captain America needs to eat four times more than others. This leads to humorous speculations about his “massive poops” or going to the bathroom “four times” more than the normal being.

This fan theory also said that it would have been challenging for the superhero during his onscreen presence inEndgame, which lasted over an hour. Why challenging? Because if he relives himself more often than a usual person, then controlling it for an hour indeed would not have been easy for him.
It also explores when Captain America time traveled inEndgame, sneaking away for a bathroom break would have also become improbable for him. So, the only superhero solution he got was to hold it.
Reddit commenters noted that Captain America’s efficient body works more than usual bodies. And that’s the reason his body absorbs more food. So, it turns out that Captain America is just like everyone else—superhero or not. Everyone’s got to go. Yet, the point to note is that he became a discussion of poop humor.
