10k FIFA 22 starter team – Serie A
Right off the bat, Dexerto wants to recommend that you aim for a Serie A squad for your very first starter lineup in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. The Italian league boasts some of the strongest mid-range cards in the game, but because it’s not as popular as major competitions like the Premier League, La Liga, and even Ligue 1 with its Paris Saint-Germain stars like Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, most Serie A players are very underpriced. This squad is focused around Muriel and Lozano attacking down the right, bolstered by Lazzari and Haps bombing down the wings on either side, opening up chances for your rapid Muriel down the middle.

Look, we’ll be the first to admit that after losing top stars like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Spain’s La Liga has lost a bit of its FIFA luster. That said, there’s still plenty of big names kicking around in the top clubs in the Spanish competition, including Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, and Antoine Griezmann, all of whom we’ve made sure to include in this mouthwatering 50k lineup. The team may not have buckets of pace, but it makes up for it in skills. 75K FIFA 22 starter team — Premier League
The one everyone has been looking for: the Premier League. The English league is by far the most popular football competition in the world, so its no surprise that most players lean towards using it in FIFA 22 as well. For this squad, we’ve picked out the 4-2-3-1 formation, complete with three attacking midfielders. These are your central players — Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, and Phil Foden should have enough creativity in them to pick apart any defense. Then, at the end of any shot is Romelu Lukaku, back in Chelsea colors after dominating in Italy. Ruben Dias and Joe Gomez create a wall at the back, and are flanked by two of the best fullbacks in the league, Cancelo and Tierney. The finishing touches come in the midfield, with powerhouses Rodri and Allan ready to clean up any openings.
100K FIFA 22 starter team — Hybrid
And now we come to the final starter squad, the beefy 100k hybrid squad. We’ve made sure to get a few leagues in here, including the Premier League, Ligue 1, and Bundesliga, mainly via a left flank of French superstars. The core of the team is focused around Wissam Ben Yedder and Kingsley Coman, while Leeds dynamo Raphinha provides pacey width out on the right. We might suggest swapping Fekir and Tchouameni once you get into the game. That means you can use Nabil Fekir as a lethal CAM, and set Allan and Tchouameni to protect your backline. Between the two of them, their pace, defensive powers, and Tchou’s height should totally dominate the midfield. This will give your wingers — with 93 and 91 pace respectively — plenty of changes to break away from the battle. At the back, rising wunderkinds Upamecano and Gomez should boss any strikers looking to pepper your goals. If everything else fails, however, Jordan Pickford is a very reliable Premier League goalkeeper that enables the English combo of Gomez and Wan-Bissaka.
