As perGuardian, The rom-com lady told her close friends that the former suffered from halitosis which was unbearable for her. As perTelegraph,

The duo starred together in a 1999 rom-com film,Forces of Naturewhere she had trouble filming kiss scenes in the film. To deal with his bad breath, she reportedly even gifted him a box of mints during the shooting.

It was reported at the time that JLo“absolutely hates Ben’s cigarettes.”For her to let go of his bad habits, she “constantly nags Ben to quit smoking despite him promising to leave it.”
The sources even shared that her constant nagging only put more pressure on him who started getting more dependent on his addictive habits. He even showed a genuine effort to let go of his smoking habits which only annoyed his wife more.
