Ben Affleck’s Batman became iconic ever since he first appeared inBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He received a lot of praise for his work and although he no longer will be returning as the character, fans had been hoping to see him direct in the DC Universe. Unfortunately, the actor confirmed that he will not even be doing that.

He shared his experience as the character and how it was different working with all the directors. The change had been untimely and Affleck was not very fond of it. The way he was able to bring Batman to life with Zack Snyder’s guidance had been an experience of a lifetime for him. Moreover, it made him so happy to see justice done to his character after Joss Whedon’s involvement was not the best.

Ben Affleck Loved Zack Snyder’s Version Of Batman
Zack Snyder’s Justice Leaguebrought to fans a movie that had been demanded ever since Joss Whedon’s version of the movie was first released. Amongst the demanders were also the lead actors themselves. When the movie was first pitched toBen Affleck, he did not believe it could be made as easily. However, now he cannot help but acknowledge how the movie is his highest-rated film on IMDb.
“The genius, and the silver lining, is that Zack Snyder eventually went to AT&T and was like, ‘Look, I can get you four hours of content.’ And it’s principally just all the slow motion that he shot in black and white. And one day of shooting with me and him. He was like, ‘Do you want to come shoot in my backyard?'”

Affleck hopped in without a thought and he loved whatZack Snyderdid with his Batman. From the first movie to the last, it had been an incredible journey. If anything, the director was able to redeem Affleck’s character in the four hours that the movie played out.

Ben Affleck Regrets Working OnJustice League
Ben Affleck shared his experience of working on the set ofJustice Leagueand how it pushed him past his limits in the worst way possible. He shared how Joss Whedon’s takeover did not help the movie at all and it was met with one problem after another.
“You could teach a seminar on all the reasons why this is how not to do it. Ranging from production to bad decisions to horrible personal tragedy, and just ending with the most monstrous taste in my mouth.”

It only worsened things for him and critics were nowhere near kind about the movie either. Working with Whedon put him in a bad place in life and he only saw himself getting worse had it not been the thought of his children and family keeping him near sanity.
