OTK co-founder Zack “Asmongold” recently revealed that he is not working with the organization any longer.
One of OTK’s (One True King) mainstays over the years and a co-founder — Zack “Asmongold” — is currently embroiled in a bit of a drama with the organization. The streamer has been part of the group since its inception in October 2020. Recently, however, he has attracted some controversies due to his statements and shift from a WoW streamer to a political streamer. In light of the recent developments, the streamer announced that he has not been actively participating in any decisions that the organization has been making.
Before opening up about his current standing with OTK, Will Neff (who joined OTK as a content creator in 2024), suggested that there needs to be changes in the organization. Failing to do so, he hinted at a resignation. While he didn’t outright take Asmongold’s name, the community perceived the statement to be directed at him. The streamer said the following:
“Just know that we’re trying to make changes to make it a better org and you’ll probably hear more about that in the future, in the immediate future, and if we can’t make it a better place. If we can’t make it a, happier, healthier place, then, I’ll have to reevaluate where I stand. That’s all I’m going to say about that.”

Asmongold Comments On His Alleged Departure From OTK
Days after Will Neff’s remarks, Asmongold addressed the situation on his stream. He clarified that he has not been involved in any official or business-related decisions within the organization, subtly suggesting a potential departure. The streamer stated:
“‘You got kicked out of OTK, didn’t you?’ Yeah, I’m not involved with OTK at all, pretty much done, haven’t been for a while. So yeah, I’m chilling. If there is something going on with them, that’s up to them. It’s not my thing.”

Tectone, a former OTK member who left in November 2024, stated that the organization would likely fade away within a few months following Asmongold’s alleged departure. He remarked:
“I thought we (OTK) would be great, now that Asmon is out of OTK. OTK is dead, let’s be real, we all know it. That org has only got four more months and it’s all gone.”
