And considering the recent debate surrounding steroid use that has been plaguing the Hollywood frontlines, it is hardly shocking that Gyllenhaal’s UFC stunt has raised a few eyebrows.
Jeff Sneider Drops Big Names in the Roid Rage Controversy
In a recent episode ofThe Hot Mic With Jeff and John, Hollywood insider and reliable scooper, Jeff Sneider brought up several names that in the recent past were flagged in the roid rage radar.
“The unspoken thing amongst all these stars, and I imagine [even with] as much time as [they] spend in the gym – all these guys are on steroids. When you see Jake Gyllenhaal like in f*cking UFC and he’s cut like that, yeah these guys can… they take incredible care of their bodies, they eat, they have dieticians, they have everything, but you don’t think that they get a little juice on the side?
[…] Jonathan Majors is big in ‘Creed III’, he’s HUGE in ‘Magazine Dreams’ [where] he [plays] a bodybuilder. So I’m just saying, is it possible that Jonathan Majors has been using steroids in these two movies in which he looks jacked beyond recognition, and could that have played a role in some sort of steroid rage?”

Not only does Sneider raise some well-intended theories as to what could have gone down behind-the-scenes leading up to the recent Jonathan Majors arrest but he also addresses the steroid controversy further by bringing Jake Gyllenhaal into the debate. What started gaining steam with Joe Rogan’s claims about The Rock last year have seemingly caught on and the speculations don’t seem to be slowing down any time soon.
