All Roku Remote Secret Codes and Channels (August 2025)

Roku is one of the top-selling streaming devices with features likemirroring from any device,customizable themes, and theability to use it without a remote, among other things. However, most people don’t know their Roku remote can be used to access hidden channels and secret codes on the Roku streaming device. We have an always-updated list of all Roku codes and channels you can access today. Note that many channels come and go, so get on them quickly.

Roku Remote Secret Codes
1. Restart Your Roku
Just like any other smart device, Roku can also stop responding to your commands and get stuck on a single screen. As you know, there is no power button on Roku devices, you can’t toggle the power to restart it. The only way to do it is to unplug the power cable and plug it back in. However, there is one secret combination of keys that will force your Roku to restart. If you press the home button 5 times, then up followed by rewind keys 2 times and fast forward 2 times, your Roku will automatically restart.
2. Developer options
You probably won’t ever need it, and if you did, you’d already know about it. Roku has a secret developer mode that allows you to access the Plugin console from a web browser. It is meant for developers who wish to test their apps on Roku, but you’re able to also use it to sideload one app andtake screenshots of your Roku TV screenfrom a web browser.
3. Channel Information
I’ve stopped keeping track of how many channels I’ve added to my Roku device, and if anyone told me to make a list, I’d suggest to them this secret code. you may get the details of all the channels installed on your Roku device in one place, including information such as build number, version, and name.
4. Crucial Information about Roku
Roku is probably smarter than you think and it gets hot while doing all the smart work. you may check the temperature of the CPU, Clock Speed, and other important data. This secret code gives you access to the System Operations Menu, where you can adjust settings like Disable Network Pings, Adjust LED brightness, etc. You can also access the RF remote menu, wireless Secret Screen and view remote presses. This screen has all the settings that a geek like me would love.
5. Advanced Wi-Fi Information
Getting the Wi-Fi signal at every corner of your house can be tricky, and there are often dead spots. If your TV, unfortunately, is positioned there, then you will always have streaming problems. To rule out this problem, you’re able to test the wifi signal of your home connection with this secret trick. It will show you signal strength, strength per antenna, Channel, noise, glitches, etc.
6. Limit Bandwidth on Roku
Now, if you don’t have an unlimited internet connection in your home, then using streaming services can be problematic because those devices are considered the guzzlers of the data world. You can limit the bandwidth of your Roku device with this secret shortcut. You can go as high as 12 Mbps and as low as 0.3 Mbps. Mind you, going low would result in inferior video quality.
7. Secret Screen
This next hidden feature gives you powerful tools to operate Roku like a pro. The screen tells you important information such as version, Build date, MAC address, etc. you may use this hidden screen to reset your Roku device, update the software, and change the Channel Store server.

This next hidden screen gives you more hidden settings to manipulate. You can change the image service, disable scrollable ads from this screen, change the screenshot output format, change the home screen banner, etc.
9. Network Insights
This secret menu provides a comprehensive view of your Wi-Fi or Ethernet settings to check the connection status, set up a new network, and manage the bandwidth saver. You can also see detailed information like your IP address, MAC address, signal strength, and the wireless channel in use.
10. HDMI Connection Details
This hidden menu displays detailed information about the HDMI connection, including supported video resolutions, refresh rates, and potentially details about HDR and HDCP compatibility. It might even show the model number of your connected television.
11. TCL TV Hidden Settings (For TCL Roku TV Users)
If you own a TCL Roku TV, this secret menu unlocks additional settings specifically for HDR that are typically found within the regular Settings menu on other Roku devices.
12. Secret Antenna Information (For Roku TV Users with Antennas)
If you use an over-the-air antenna with your Roku TV, this hidden menu likely provides settings and diagnostic information related to your antenna reception.
Important Note:Roku does not officially support these hidden menus for general users. Exercise caution when navigating them and avoid making changes unless you fully understand their purpose, as incorrect modifications could lead to unexpected behavior or require a factory reset.

Beyond the official Roku Channel Store, there’s a hidden world of “private channels” offering unique content you might not find elsewhere. These unlisted channels can be added to your Roku using specific codes. Here’s how to get started:
How to Add Private Channels:
1. iTunes Podcasts
If you love podcasts, this private channel allows you to stream them directly from Apple’s iTunes library without needing an iTunes account. A great way to access a wide variety of audio content.
2. RokuCast
For the more tech-savvy users, RokuCast enables you to stream HTML5 videos from your computer’s Chrome browser directly to your Roku. This requires installing an experimental Chrome extension.
3. Weather Radar
Stay informed with live weather updates from around the world, sourced directly from the United States National Weather Service. A handy channel to have for quick weather checks.

If you have children, this channel provides a wide range of entertaining and educational content, including shows focused on teaching the alphabet, numbers, and art.
6. Armchair Tourist
This channel offers content related to travel and exploration, showcasing different places and cultures.
7. The Space Opera Channel
This channel is a treasure trove of independent sci-fi movies, classic cinema, and fan-made films, offering both live TV streams and on-demand viewing. You might even stumble upon classics like Flash Gordon.
Explore international television with 5ik.TV, which streams live TV channels from various Far East countries, including China, Japan, and South Korea. Please note that the user interface is not in English.

9. Nowhere TV
A popular private channel offering a significant amount of free content, including movies, TV shows, and sports streams from networks like ABC, NFL, BBC, PBC, MLB, and HBO. A great source for diverse entertainment.
10. Presto
For those who enjoy magic and illusions, Presto is a private Roku channel dedicated to the art of magic. Prepare to be amazed!
