Blunt increases naturally when landing successful hits on targets and will gradually level up throughout your playthrough if you continue to use Blunt weapons. However, to improve the skill at a quicker rate, you can search for Blunt trainers who help level it instantly for a price.

Once you locate a Blunt trainer, interact with them to open the dialogue options. Select the “Train” button on the bottom left to open the training menu. Select between one and five possible skill levels to train. Keep in mind that if you train all five levels in Blunt, you will not be able to train any other skill at that character level. To get the most out of these bludgeoning experts, visit a Blunt trainer every time you level up, and the skill will progress at a rapid rate.

Blunt Training Quest in Oblivion Remastered

Once your Blunt skill is leveled up to 70, the advanced trainers can no longer teach you. Instead, you can begin the “Blunt Training” quest by speaking with Azzan or Christophe Marane to receive training from a master, Irene Metrick.

The quest marker will lead you to Metrick’s quarters in the northwest section of the Elven Gardens District. Between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m., you will find her roaming the Market District. When you meet her, Metrick places an unsettling yet intriguing condition. to train under her, you must have killed more people than she has.

To complete this objective, your NPC kill count throughout the playthrough needs to be more than 50. If the quest is not immediately completed, you may check “People Killed” in the “Details” tab of your character page. Since any humanoids, including bandits and rogue mages, count as people, you will likely meet Metrick’s bloodthirsty condition.

If not, you may head to Belletor’s Folly, a mine south of Kvatch, which houses 21 bandits. Once the quest is complete, Irene Metrick is ready to train you at any time during the day until midnight.
