In an interview with Empire, the producer ofAcross the Spider-Verse,Amy Pascal shared her excitement at the potential involvement ofTom Hollandin a cameo role in the upcoming movie. The producer further shared that even theUnchartedactor was excited about the opportunity since he loved these Spider-Man movies so much.

“[she was] not going to comment on anything around that! Tom Holland does love these [Spider-Verse] movies…”

According to a recent report by insider Daniel Richtman, there are rumors that the upcoming movie will be directly connected to the events ofSpider-Man: No Way Home.For those of the unversed, a multiversal portal cracked open in the sky during the penultimate act of the 2021 movie which was soon healed by Doctor Strange.

As if the above theory wasn’t connective enough, animator Ere Santos revealed that the film has some very shocking moments that will make the audiences go crazy. Santos revealed that there will be many“How the hell did they do that?”moments that the audiences will surely love.

The upcoming movie includes Hailee Steinfield, Oscar Isaac, and Daniel Kaluuya among many notable actors that will provide their voices in the movie. With several cast members reprising their roles and several new additions joining the animated franchise,Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verseis slated for a release date of 2nd June 2023 in theaters across the U.S.
