To get started, install the app and add your classes along with their start and end dates. Then, choose your schedule type—whether time-based, period-based, or block-based. Once set up, the app’s homepage will display your classes for the day. You can also track upcoming classes, including those due tomorrow, using the provided tabs.
The Homework tab sits on the sidebar, where your assignments, tests, and projects are displayed. You can view them by class, type, or priority. There’s also a Calendar view accessible from the same sidebar menu, allowing you to see your schedule for the day or the entire month.
You can color-code your classes to help differentiate them. Additionally, myHomework Planner is available on Chromebook devices via an extension. However, certain features, like uploading your syllabus and files, require a premium myHomework account.

5. School Planner
The School Planner app, particularly the Android version, uses Google’s Material Design and has a clean, organized look. The Overview home screen displays your weekly report at the top, followed by today’s pending events, tomorrow’s events, your daily schedule, and then each day of the week.
The sidebar provides access to the Agenda (where you’re able to set different agendas for each day of the month), the Calendar (which gives you a monthly overview of events), and the Timetable (which you can set and follow daily, and which has a nice color-coded, Trello-like dashboard).
The app also lets you track your grades, subjects, and attendance. There’s a separate section for Recordings where you can record voice notes or memos. You can place app widgets on your home screen for today’s timetable or tomorrow’s tasks.
All your data can be synced to the cloud via a Google or Apple account provided you have premium suscription. The same also gets you alerts for upcoming classes, and receive alerts for homework, exams, and reminders for the next day. and the option to change the app theme.

6. Egenda – Homework Manager
Egenda is a rather simple homework manager app that requires just three steps: create a few classes, add your assignments, and get on with your homework. Each class can have its unique color to make it easier to organize.
Within your classes, you can add homework, quizzes, projects, or tests. These tasks appear in a card view and can be quickly swiped away and marked done when completed.
What I like is that you get daily reminders about what’s due the next day, which makes you ready for the following day. you may also add notes to remember group members or assignment details, such as a specific itinerary or which notes or books to keep. Egenda further lets you sort your tasks by priority, due date, or completion.
The app is 100% free, and there are no ads or premium features. However, do note that the interface may feel a bit basic and outdated, so this app is good for someone who wants no-nonsense stuff. But if you’re more into customization or functional theming, you’d be better off with other apps on the list.
