While we watch any film, we don’t seem to notice small details and mistakes. However, there are many instances where logic goes for a toss and it seems over the top. Here are 15 movie mistakes filmmakers didn’t notice before releasing.
1. The Wizard Of Oz – As Scarecrow becomes enlightened, he states the Pythagorean Theorem incorrectly.
2.Titanic –Jacktells Rose that he went for ice fishing in Lake Wissota which was actually formed five years after the Titanic sank.
3.Twilight – This is one of the strange movie mistakes because it impacts the story line. As Edward is a vampire, he couldn’t have heartbeat or erections. But, somehow he manages to have sex with Bella.
4. Shawshank Redemption – Andy manages to escape from the prison in 1966 by covering up the tunnel with the poster of Raquel Welch from the film One Million Years B.C. Surprisingly, this film was released in 1967.
5. Never Been Kissed – The pie numbering is printed wrong in the math club’s poster. It is 3.14159.
6. It’s a Wonderful Life – Clarence reveals that his brother George died at the age of nine. But, the date on George’s gravestone states that he died at the age of eight.
7. Leap – The Statue of Liberty color is wrongly shown in Leap. It’s actually brown, but it’s green in the film.
8. Doctor Strange – In one scene,Dr. Strangeand Dr. Palmer performs brain surgery without wearing surgical masks. In real life, doctors must wear surgical masks while performing any surgery.
9. Gravity – For some reason, makers have disobeyed physics laws for great visuals. Ryan Stone’s tears float in the air like bubbles. However, due to strong surface tension in space, tears will roll down from our cheeks as we cry.
10. My Cousin Vinny – In the court scene, a witness suddenly enters the court whereas in reality, a witness must be announced prior to the court session.
11. The Aviator – Howard Hughes asks for ten chocolate chip cookies. On the other hand, chocolate chip cookies are actually invented around the 1930s which is two years after the scene happens.
12. Star Wars – In the entireStar Warsfranchise, every planet has the same gravitational force. However it is impossible in reality.
13. Braveheart – The film takes place in the 14th century where characters wear kilts. But, kilts were invented in the 16th century.
14. Mean Girls – Cady is originated from Africa. But in the photograph, she is sitting on an Asian elephant which is strange.
15. Lucy – Professor Norman states that humans only use 10% of the brain. But in reality, neurologists confirmed that every part of the brain is always in use.
